I first found this 2018 BMW M3 F80 Sedan driving on Main Street/CT-35 on 5/20/2018 (photos 1-3). I found it again driving on Main Street/CT-35 on 7/15/2018 (photos 4-6). I then found it again driving on Main Street/CT-35 on 6/21/2019 (photos 7-10). The owner used to have a grey 2014 BMW M3 F80 Sedan that I have spotted and will link in the comments below. License plate: 745·PKN (CT)

There's like zero difference engine-wise between this one and the pre-facelift version right? Wouldn't expect many owners to upgrade between those but I guess some do.

@LucasH people treat cars like disposable objects here once the new versions come out so it doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Or maybe he totaled the old M3 and this was his insurance payout. Who knows.
