A spontaneous little trip to Monaco turned into a day with quite a few decent spots! Before arriving into Monaco, I had seen photos on social media of this car in Monaco. It was recently acquired by Top Gear Imports in the US (https://www.topgearporsche.com), and will be relocated soon. I was hoping to see it, but didn't really expect it. I'm glad I was wrong! I first saw it driving by on the Avenue Princesse Grace while on the phone and unpacking my car; not ideal! I only got 1 phone picture. Ironically, I didn't hear it coming at all. It seemed like the driver was keeping the valves closed at all times... Thankfully, I saw the car again on Casino Square and once more late at night parked up at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel. Taking photos of a matte black car at night is very difficult, so I had to make the most of the situation. The Mirage GT is the ultimate guilty pleasure in my eyes. 'Messing' with an icon like the Carrera GT should be illegal, but I've got to admit I absolutely love these! Ever since I saw a yellow one in London in 2008 I've been obsessed with these things. The looks, the noise... Unreal!
